# ToolDurus

> ToolDurus is a universal platform that gives any large language model real tools. Think of it as an app store, but for AI tools. You use the tools inside a multi-model chat (Gemini, Mistral, local models via Ollama), or connect them to your own AI agents over a unique token. ToolDurus is made in the EU (Czech Republic) and is launching in the second half of 2026.

## What it does

- A universal tool platform for language models and AI agents, built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- A built-in chat where the best-known LLMs live together and can be switched mid-conversation.
- A connection over a unique token, so the same tools work inside third-party LLM apps or your own interface (for example LibreChat) and inside your own agents' source code.

## Tools (demonstrative selection, growing over time)

- convert_pdfa: convert documents to archival PDF/A and validate them with veraPDF (required by building portals, courts and investors).
- cad_export: prepare CAD drawings for handoff and permit submissions, for engineers and architects.
- geodata_analyzer: read and analyze geospatial data such as maps, satellite and aerial imagery, elevation models and coordinates, and convert between formats and coordinate systems.
- revise_docx: review Word documents with edits proposed as tracked changes (contract review without expensive legal tools).
- edit_video: speed up, watermark, resize or extract audio from video.
- files_storage: built-in cloud storage the model reads from and writes to, with vector search that finds key facts in seconds across large documents.
- send_email: let the model actually send an email.

## Who it is for

- Everyday users: give an LLM abilities for daily life, such as running personal email, working with documents, or connecting to e-shops and editing photos for fun.
- Organizations (companies, nonprofits, schools, public authorities): unified settings, central approval of tools and models for the whole organization, privacy and security controls across members, and specialized industry tools.
- Developers: give AI agents "hands and feet" through a simple token connection.

## Privacy and data

- Made in the EU (Czech Republic).
- Optional isolated storage per chat: the model sees only files from the current conversation.
- Control over whether the model reads attachment content directly or only through tools.
- Support for local models via Ollama, so sensitive documents can stay on the user's own machine.
